Art and Christianity Enquiry (ACE) invites entries for the 2015 Award for Art in a Religious Context. Entries for either temporary or permanent commissions in or within the grounds of buildings dedicated to the worship of any faith community will be considered for the award of £5,000. Entries must be in the United Kingdom and completed between July 2011 and July 2015.
The ACE Award seeks to commend the collaborative process of the commission and both clients and artists must give their permission for the entry. To this end £4,000 of the prize money will go to the artist(s) of the winning scheme and £1,000 to the client. A specially commissioned artwork will also be offered to the client to display during 2016.
