Two John Piper windows located either side of Piper's design of a 'Dorsal' painting. Margaret Kaye's ( a pupil of Piper's) altar frontals one of which is now undergoing restoration. In its place the church has installed a new work by Barbara Graham, the inspiration for which comes from the Piper windows.

St Mary's is a sought-after venue for groups of students and educational tours is because of the quality of its stained glass. They have a fine collection, thanks largely to Swansea having a highly significant and international School of Architectural Glass. The current building (5th on the site) was re-built following the blitz of 1941 it is therefore a parallel building to Coventry Cathedral and, although not a cathedral, is the principal parish church at the heart of Wales' Second City.
The featured artwork for this location is Ceri Richards' Deposition nominated for Ecclsiart by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, a work he has said he often looked at in his teens.
